NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Abe was abandoned in an apartment with his five buddies. He is a little shy, but he warms up once you pet him.

Thor is a friendly, happy American Staffordshire terrier mix who loves to lean on people and be in their laps. He has adjusted very well at the shelter after being a little distant, and is now happy to meet new people. Thor is stocky and powerful, but he's learning to walk on a leash and do basic tricks.

If you're interested in learning more about Thor or to schedule a visit, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs, puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.
