The first stop for The Big Yellow Van was on Saturday in South Plainfield, NJ at The Club at Ricochet; here the Jersey Prize Team cheered on the heroes who biked for an hour to raise money for the great charity, Wish Upon a Hero. The Spin-A-Thon began promptly at 9 a.m. and it was a great (but tiring!) time for all. Mrs. New Jersey America even showed up to give thanks to the heroes who donated their time and money to grant wishes to those in need.

The Jersey Prize Team played Jersey's favorite hits while giving out prizes for the best hula hoopers! Everyone had a great time, and the Patriots even picked up their first win of the season with a score of 14-3!

Sunday was an even busier day, with the Jersey Prize Team Traveling to three different locations! Our first stop, The March of Dimes Walk, was a huge success in Clinton, NJ. We played great music and gave away tons of cool prizes! A generous donor, Ikaria, based in Clinton even donated $50,000 to this amazing foundation that raises money and gives hope to more than half a million babies born prematurely each year.

Next on the agenda was the Mercer County Arthritis Walk held at Veterans Park in  Hamilton, NJ. The walk was sponsored by The Arthritis Foundation, a great foundation who strives to help people to live better today and create better tomorrows. They achieve this through the donations they receive which helps to find new treatments and ultimately a cure for one in five adults and 300,000 children.

Our last stop for the weekend was at the Lawrenceville Main Street Jubilee. The event was held on Gordon and Phillips Aves in Lawrencville. Dozens of vendors, businesses and restaurants were at the Jubilee, not to mention Steve-O's of Lawrenceville, Aunt Martha's Funnel Cake, Vidalia, and Frank's Italian Ices.  These local businesses came out to celebrate and provide the Main Street Jubilee with delicious food options! The Jubilee was fun for all ages!
