It has been a rough few days for Gov. Chris Christie, both here in New Jersey and on the road for his presidential campaign.

Christie's first Town Hall meetings in New Hampshire were fine, but there was no magic. He seems to be struggling to connect with the critical primary voters.

Back home, his poll numbers are the worst they have ever been with just a 36 percent approval rating.

The NJEA has abandoned efforts to reform the pension system. That issue had been a critical win for Christie to take on the campaign trail.

And to top it all off, State Sen. Joe Kyrillos (R-Monmouth), a long-time Christie ally and friend, has abandoned the governor to support Jeb Bush for president.
