A Veterans Day memory: Why my grandfather was my hero
New Jersey 101.5's Vin Ebenau remembers his grandfather, Cpl. Frederick E. Ebenau, who served during the Korean War.
Vin's proud of his grandfather's service — but what he remembers best was the time they spent together as a child. Vin was only 6 years old when his grandfather died, but even then, he looked up to his grandfather as they watched cooking shows and talked about cooking together. It's part of what makes Vin who he is today.
