High temperatures yesterday were ranging widely.

It reached the low to middle 70s in South Jersey briefly yesterday morning before strong winds came in and caused temperatures to drop some 20 degrees in a short order of time.

Normal high temperatures are 60 degrees.

Today will be just in the low 60s or so, but much cooler in North Jersey and near the ocean with rain, which will become heavy at times before tapering off late this afternoon or early this evening.

Leftover clouds tonight give way to some clearing later tonight with most lows back in the 40s.

Despite a kind of chilly start early Saturday morning, partly to mostly sunny with a brisk wind developing with highs from 60 to perhaps 65.

Mostly sunny Sunday with temps back in the low 60s.

It should be an excellent weekend for any outdoor activities you have in mind.
