Production of Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue is generally shrouded in secrecy but the Super Bowl has prompted the magazine to lift the veil on one model's visit to the Jersey Shore.

"In just four days, all eyes will turn to East Rutherford, N.J., for what could be the coldest Super Bowl in history," writes Rebecca Shore on the Swim Daily page of the SI website. "But today, allow yourself to daydream of a warmer time, one replete with salty air, crashing waves, a plateful of zeppoles and the laurel-green eyes of Hannah Davis."

Davis, the girlfriend of New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter,  is shown wearing a barely-there "NJ Strong" blue tank top on the beach and also modeling a green-and-white bikini as she poses on a surfboard last June. The pictures and accompanying video have been released as part of the promotion for the magazine's 50th annual swimsuit issue, which comes out Feb. 18.

Seaside Heights officials were aware of the shoot that took place last June but were sworn to secrecy. “Any positive thing like that, of course, we love to have. … It’s a real nice honor to have a nice magazine like that to come to Seaside,” Seaside Heights public information officer Michael Graichen told the Asbury Park Press.
