A House I’ll Never Live In
When all I can afford is a small condo, I shouldn't look at stories like this. Yet I did. A beach house on LBI that has been rented in the past by such wealthy celebrities as Ray Romano and Jersey's own Jon Stewart is now for sale.
Six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, nanny/housekeeper quarters with it's own separate entrance (but of course Dahling!) that comes with its own kitchenette, full bath and living room. An outdoor cabana. A master suite on the first floor has a fireplace, wet bar, office, walk-in closet, full bath, and a Jacuzzi. The upper level of the home has four bedrooms, a second living room with another bar, deck, and a stairway that leads up to a rooftop hot tub. Jon Stewart had rented it for about $30,000 a week.
That's more than I pay in rent for the entire year.
