A Hamburger You’ve Probably Never Seen Before

One of my 17 year old son’s favorite places to eat is Bobby’s Burger Palace, owned by the Food Network’s Bobby Flay. He has five of them in New Jersey. Yesterday (Sunday) we were near the Freehold Raceway Mall and were hungry, so we went there. My 13 year old son just got a plain burger, nothing to see here, but Sam got a “Crunchburger”. If you’re not familiar with that, they look like this:

My son thinks that burger is the best he’s ever had. I went with a (double) Santa Fe burger, with jalapeños and blue corn chips on top:

It was pretty good, too. Probably all the burgers there are good, plus, their fountain (on tap) sodas include Fresca! I’ve never seen that at a serve yourself fountain before.
