A Fun Event to Help an Ocean County Tradition Live On [PHOTOS]

Every year since I began working at this station I have been going to the Ocean County Columbus Day Parade in Seaside Heights. I love the food, the music, the people-watching (especially the people-watching). This year this iconic New Jersey festival needs your help to continue. 

If you've never been to the festival or parade in Seaside Heights, you're really missing out. One thing I've experienced with this job is a wide array of festivals and carnivals. While each one has their own charm and certain personality to it. The Ocean County Columbus Day Parade/Festival is one of my favorites.

This year they are experiencing a bit of a financial situation and need the help of the community. Coming to Hemmingway's Cafe on Friday March 1st will be a pasta dinner to benefit the parade and festival. The cost is only $25.00 if purchased before 2/21/13, if you buy after than the cost is $35.00.
