Nearing the End of My Journey – Kelly’s Journey

It’s now been three weeks since my partial hysterectomy and I’m coming along as well as can be expected. I’m still a bit swollen, but I’m starting to get around a little faster. So, the date's been set. I have to be at the hospital between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning on May 1 for a 7:30 a.m. procedure. Before then, I have to meet with my doctor one more time to discuss everything and then get the routine "pre-surgery" bloodwork and then just wait.
