Girl’s face slashed on Pennsauken school bus
Pennsauken Police and High School officials are trying to sort out why a student slashed another student on board a school bus on Thursday afternoon.
A 16-year-old female was sliced across the face with a "sharp object" by another 16-year-old female on a bus parked outside the school around 2 p.m. according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. The attacker is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a weapon on school grounds.
Police were able to review video of the incident taken on board the bus. "The girl was just standing; the other girl walked on and just sliced her as she went past,” Pennsauken Police Lt. Michael Probasco told Fox 29, which reports a police officer was already at the school for the last day of classes.
NBC 10 reported the incident was part of a "feud" between the two teens; police did not offer a reason for the attack.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries while the other student was taken into police custody for transfer to the Camden County Youth Detention Center.
