9-Year-Old Girl Shot in Trenton
A 9-year-old girl was shot three times in Trenton on Monday afternoon.6 ABC reports the unidentified girl was hit in the shoulder and legs on Bellevue Avenue and Marion Street. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and was alert and talking to police, according to NBC 10.
The girl's stepfather was arrested at the time of the shooting,according to the television station, on an unrelated charge.
Police have not offered a description of a suspect or the circumstances that led to the shooting.
