8-Year-Old Tossed From Christian School for Shocking Reason [VIDEO]

Sunnie Kahle is 8 years old and was just shunned by Timberlake Christian School in Virginia. Did she bring a gun to school? Drugs? Talk back to a teacher? Hit a student? Nope, nope, nope, and nope.

The reason? She dresses like a boy. She has short hair and she likes to wear jeans and football jerseys. Being such terrific Christians the school administrators sent home a letter reminding her family that the school could refuse to admit a student "if that student is condoning sexual immorality, practicing a homosexual lifestyle or alternative gender identity."

If she didn't start dressing in a more feminine manner she would not be allowed to return to school in the fall. Principal Becky Bowman's letter went on to say that her school "wasn't the best place for her education" if she didn't understand God had made her female — and she should dress and act as such. Her grandparents are outraged, saying she is just a tomboy.

So disgusted with the school's decision the family pulled her out early and sent her to public school. Sunnie cries every day missing the friends she had at Timberlake. Friends who apparently had no problem that she didn't act like a girly girl. Don't worry though. I'm sure after a few more years the Timberlake Christian School will have warped their minds enough to make them the same mean spirited, judgmental haters worthy of Heaven as the staff.
