8 displaced by Lakewood fire
LAKEWOOD (AP) — Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that displaced eight people living above a restaurant in Lakewood.
Firefighters arrived on the scene on Second Street around 2:51 a.m. Tuesday.
Police Sgt. James Finnegan tells the Asbury Park Press one person needed to be rescued.
The Red Cross is working to relocate the residents.
No injuries were reported.
