The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced Thursday that four men were charged this week with murder, and three other people face gun and drug possession charges.

Absecon police say they found 22-year-old Diante Owen and 22-year-old Gerald Alvarez dead at the Red Roof Inn on March 1, 2015.

Shortly after the shooting, two men arrived at an Atlantic City hospital with gunshot wounds.

Prosecutors say the killings were the result of a drug deal, and that both sides had and fired guns.

Officials say two of the men charged with murder are still at large. The other two are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
