50 lies you believed your whole life
I thought this DailyMail list was so interesting I want share it. It's a collection of what we think of as facts or common knowledge that are widely misunderstood, exaggerated, or outright lies. For example, when I was a child I was always told if you find a baby bird never touch it for your human scent left on the bird will make the mother reject it. Because I never heard otherwise I have believed that my whole life. This list says most birds actually have a terrible sense of smell and the mother bird would most likely never even pick up the scent of human hands.
