5-Year-Old from New Jersey Sets a New Record [VIDEO]

A five-year-old boy from New Jersey has broken the previous running record of someone his age, after running the Trenton Half Mile Marathon.

Credit - iStock[/caption]Anthony Evan Russo, from Jackson, completed the marathon with a time of 2:22:35, beating the previous record holder out by 40 minutes. The Trenton Half Mile Marathon was the first half marathon that Russo participated in. He started training with his mom since he was four-years-old.

Russo was able to finish the race faster than other competitors that were older than him. If he has plans to run in future marathons, he could have a promising future ahead of him.
