February is coming to an end and we couldn't be more excited!

It's hard to believe that it's already the end of February. Even though it's the shortest month of the year, it feels like the longest. Where's the sunlight? Where's the tolerable air temperature? Wouldn't you just love to walk out of your house without slipping on ice before you even get to the car for once? Oh, February... I won't be missing you when you're gone. Sorry, but it's time to say goodbye.

Here are the top reasons why I'm glad February is over:

    No more bad weather

Okay, so we can't really guarantee there won't be any more bad weather, but can it really get any worse that what we went through this month? From the snowstorms to the icy roads to the cloudy, gloomy skies, it seems as though things can only improve from here! Here's to springtime coming soon.

    St. Patrick's Day is near

Whether you're toting your brightest green apparel, grabbing a pint with friends, or going to a parade, there's nothing like a St. Patty's day celebration to liven things up.

    Valentine's Day is over

Seriously, we all know this Hallmark holiday is a load of crap anyway. Single people dread it, guys spend way too much money, and women are disappointed by lackluster gifts. You can come out from hiding now--the hoopla is over, and Valentine's Day chocolate is 75% off in pharmacies statewide.

    No more stupid groundhog

We never trusted you anyway, Punxsutawney Phil. You've broken our hearts too many times. We're glad we won't have to deal with you for another year!
