4 hurt when boat runs aground near LBI
LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP (AP) — Four people were injured when a sport fishing boat ran aground in Ocean County.
But it's not yet known what caused the accident, which was reported around 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say 13 people were aboard the 53-foot boat when it went aground near Long Beach Island.
Four of them suffered head and/or neck injuries and were being treated at hospitals. But their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
No other vessels were involved in the incident.
