The players are 20-year-old Shaquille Stokes of Manhattan and 18-year-olds Kentrell Washington of Las Vegas; Jimmy Hall of Brooklyn; and Dallas Anglin of Montclair. Each pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday.

Police say cash, computers, cellphones and other items were taken. Some of the items were then sold on Craigslist.

The university says the four have been suspended from the team, classes, residence halls and facilities.

Police say the players' coach, Mo Cassara, also reported that electronics and other items were stolen from him at the start of the semester. Investigators say the players haven't been charged in those thefts, although the inquiry is ongoing.

Cassara did not immediately comment.
