4 arrested for swiping ‘Moon bounce’
CLEMENTON BOROUGH (AP) — A south Jersey town almost saw its plans for summer fun deflated.
Four people have been arrested for allegedly stealing an inflatable moon bounce ride and a dunk tank in Clementon Borough.
An update on the Clementon Police Department's website says four men were arrested between June 20 and 22. Charles Miller 2nd, 28, of Voorhees, David Boyle, 38, of Pine Hill, Eric Evangelista, 44 of Pine Hill and Michael Williams Jr., 35, from Winslow, all turned themselves to police.
Authorities in the Camden County borough say thieves took the moon bounce and dunk tank around June 2. The Clementon Youth Athletic Association had rented the items to celebrate "Clementon Day."
The moon bounce and dunk tank have been recovered.
