Every Friday is #BlueFriday on the show where we salute NJ officers that go above and beyond the call of duty. This week, I had some help honoring this week's BlueFriday winners, as I was joined in studio by NJ State PBA President Patrick Colligan.

This week we recognized three outstanding heroes who did the right thing. These three troopers, Trooper Chris Jones, Trooper Charles Garrison and Trooper Kimberly Snyder are responsible for helping some young NJ residents make it to their important events.

Troopers Jones and Garrison were responsible for giving 2 high school students a ride to their prom after they had gotten into a car accident. While Trooper Snyder helped a NJ college student, whose car had broken down in Eagleswood Township in Ocean County, get to his final exam on time at Stockton University.

Both sets of parents commended the troopers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Well, Pat Colligan and I agree that all three of these troopers embody everything that the #BlueFriday award stands for. That's why we are proud to present this week's distinction to Troopers Jones, Garrison and Snyder.
