Three Essex County men have been indicted by a grand jury in connection with the murder of an Orange man, authorities said Thursday.

Rasuan Foster, 29, of East Orange; Zaki Jones, 33, of Newark and Jarret Mceachin, 29, of Orange face charged including murder, conspiracy and weapons offenses for the shooting death of Naji Everett, 26, of Orange.

Everett was gunned down outside a home on Joyce Street in Orange on Dec. 17, 2015, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. Everett was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30 a.m., authorities said. The shooting death was investigated by the Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Task Force.

In addition to murder, the four-count indictment charges Foster, Jones and Mceachin with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon as well as conspiracy, authorities said.

The arraignments for all three men are scheduled for July 25 in Essex County. They are all being held on $750,000 bail.
