3 girls accused of beating another in park

Three girls are accused of beating another in a park in Brick Township.

Police say the girl was attacked by the others in Herbertsville Park early Monday. She sustained significant injuries to her nose and right eye that required surgery.

Police charged the three girls as juveniles with aggravated assault. Their names have not been released because they are minors.
