LAKEWOOD (AP) — Three men were arrested after a fight broke out in the parking lot of an Ocean County banquet hall.

Lakewood police tell the Star-Ledger that the scuffle occurred early Saturday, shortly after a concert staged at the hall had ended.

But it's not yet known what sparked the fight.

One man was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer after he allegedly grabbed an officer's shirt and shoved her as she tried to separate the combatants. Another man faces the same charge after he allegedly reached into the waistband of his pants and pulled out a weapon made from an aluminum can.

The third man was charged with defiant trespassing after officers said he "aggressively" approached them after the second man was arrested.
