Join Big Joe Henry and the Jersey Prize Team at the Grand Opening of Saint Barnabas Medical Center’s Cooperman Family Pavilion in Livingston as they unveil a new five-story, 241,000 square-foot soaring addition to the Livingston medical center. The Cooperman Family Pavilion, with its towering glass entrance, will become the new point of entry for all patients and visitors to the medical center.  The pavilion will encompass 114 new private, single-patient rooms; an expansive 56-bassinet Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which is three times the size of the previous NICU; many of the outpatient diagnostic services including non-invasive cardiology, cardiopulmonary and neuro diagnostics lab, endoscopy lab and pre-admission testing; a central registration area; and same-day surgery suite. A new three-story parking garage has also been built to accommodate more than 400 vehicles.

ATLANTIC COUNTY


The Atlantic City Seafood Festival is moving to the boardwalk in 2017! This year's Festival will be held outdoors, adjacent to The Showboat, just steps away from the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and Beaches! It will be the same fantastic festival, just in a new home! The Atlantic City Seafood festival will continue to give attendees the opportunity to experience Atlantic City as a culinary destination and will be a great opportunity for foodies and food seekers to meet some of Atlantic City's most unique chefs and restaurateurs all while eating their tasty creations.

Registration is now open and will only be conducted online. Entries are $50 per division, $15 for each additional division and include an event T-shirt and a ticket to the after party. Entries are free for Grom Boys, 11 years old and younger and Grom Girls, 12 years old and younger, divisions. There are also divisions for longboard and standup paddleboard. After party is 4 pm at Ventura's Greenhouse, 106 S Benson Ave. Tickets to the after party only are $30. Additional information is available online.

BURLINGTON COUNTY


Every September, enjoy an eclectic mix of entertainment on three stages, including music, dance, theater and storytelling. Guests are encouraged to engage in free interactive activities, such as Chalk the Walk, Paint the Mural and Clothesline Art Workshop. Artists of all levels will have an opportunity to showcase their skills. The Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery will host the Annual Juried Art Exhibit. There will be fine art vendors, artisan crafters, art-related activities, and performers in a variety of genres!

CAMDEN COUNTY


The City of Camden and Connect the Lots is proud to host the third annual Camden Jam: Arts and Music Festival. The festival will feature live music and cultural arts performances including six-time Grammy-nominated American R&B singer and songwriter, Kelly Price and singer-songwriter, Bilal, with additional performances from locals artists and musicians. The festival also features food and clothing vendors, arts and crafts, a Kids Zone, an Eco Zone, and a Health Zone. This is a ticketed event. Event runs from 2 - 8 pm.

The Flemington Opa! Festival is west Central Jersey's big cultural family event, featuring food, shopping, fun, and entertainment. It was voted for the past two years as the "Best Foodie Event" in Hunterdon. Enjoy delicious Greek fare indoors or outside under the tent. The menu features classic oven baked items and also popular grill selections such as souvlaki and gyros. A Taverna will feature Greek and domestic wine and beer. Cafe features include Greek pastries and coffee. The 5K starts at 9 am and is a chip-timed, USATF certified event with a fun, upbeat atmosphere and great prizes!  After the races, enjoy the DJ, get a free massage, fill up on snacks, and see if you won a raffle prize! "Wine in your hand, toes in the sand" Wine on the Beach Festival will be held on the sugar white sand of Seaside Heights South Beach.
