A Gloucester City man has been arrested and charged after 20,000 images of child pornography were found on his computer, authorities said.

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said police searched the Walnut Street apartment of Christopher J. Campi, 48, after being tipped off about Campi.

Homeland Security Investigations, the Gloucester Township Police Department, the Barrington Police Department, the Gloucester City Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Tactical Team were all part of the search and found numerous digital media devices in the apartment, Colalillo said.

Campi is charged with second-degree distribution and third-degree possession and is being held at the Camden County jail pending $100,000 bail.
