KEANSBURG — Two GoFundMe pages have been created to assist the family of slain 11-year-old Abbiegail “Abbie” Smith.

Abbie was reported missing Wednesday night and her body was found 12 hours later wrapped in a blanket on a roof of her apartment building.

One page created by her family, titled "Abbiegail Smith," was shared online by borough police. It had raised over $1,720 by 11 a.m. Saturday.

Highlands First Aid Squad captain Kelly McGowan created "Help for AbbieGail Smith's family" to help with funeral arrangements  As of 11 a.m. Saturday, nearly $13,000 had been pledged to the page.

Abbie's mother, family and and friends gathered for a candlelight vigil despite showers on Friday night and sang "Amazing Grace." They also chanted "Justice for Abbie," according to the Asbury Park Press.

Abbie’s mother cried out in court, which she attended with her sons.

“You killed my daughter, my one and only daughter,” she was quoted as saying by the Asbury Park Press.
