Jackson police say an unidentified Delaware man and the two victims — a 35-year-old woman and a teenage boy — started arguing as they left the park around 7 p.m. Saturday. Police say the three knew each other, and their argument intensified as the man and the victims drove off in separate vehicles.

Both drivers soon stopped at a restaurant about a mile from the park.

Authorities say the woman was stabbed in the arm, while the boy was stabbed multiple times in the torso and back. Both were treated at hospitals for wounds that are not considered life-threatening.

The man was charged with aggravated assault and two weapons counts. He is being held on $100,000 bail at the Ocean County Jail.
