ATLANTIC CITY  - Two Atlantic City men were arrested and large quantities of narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized following a motor vehicle stop on June 23, authorities said.

Dupree Holloway,, 26, and Dominic White, 28, were both charged with possession of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, Atlantic City police said Sunday.

According to police, Officers Alberto Valles and Christopher Dodson conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hummock Avenue at 4:51 p.m. During the course of an investigation, police found both men to be in possession of marijuana.

In addition, after searching the vehicle, the officers recovered 277 individual bags of heroin, police said.

"There was also numerous items recovered that are consistently used in the manufacture and distribution of heroin which include; surgical masks, rubber gloves, cellophane bags, digital scales, rubber bands, a grinder, and numerous empty wax folds," authorities said in a statement.

Bail for both Holloway and White was set at $75,000. They were transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, police said.
