2 More People Killed In Shooting In Newark

Newark police and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office say the man and woman were found shot to death in a parked vehicle in the city's West ward Saturday afternoon.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the shooting was targeted but that they don't yet have a motive or suspects.

The killings were the 63rd and 64th in Newark this year. They came about two weeks after a 10-day period in which 10 people were murdered in the city.

The victims haven't been identified pending notification of family.
