Two members of the Latin Kings street gang were arrested Wednesday in Englewood on drug related charges, according to the Bergen County Prosecutors Office.

Jose E. Quinones and Jose Gonzalez were caught transporting cocaine from Bronx, N.Y to Englewood.

A motor vehicle stop resulted in the seizure of one kilogram of cocaine.

A later search of Quinones' residence in the Bronx resulted in the seizure of two additional kilograms of cocaine and $6,000 in cash.

Both men were charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely cocaine, a first degree crime.

Bail was set for both parties in the amount of $250,000 with no 10 percent cash option.

The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Gang Unit, the Englewood Police Department and the New York Police Department.
