2 Firefighters, 1 Resident Hurt In Mantua Housefire

Authorities say two firefighters and a resident sustained injuries in house fire in Gloucester County Tuesday.

The fire began sometime before 10 a.m. in a home in Mantua Township.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office says a resident was taken to the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. Two firefighters were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Authorities have not released the names of the injured or the extent of their injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
