Authorities say an 18-year-old Philadelphia man is facing multiple charges including DWI, drug possession and leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly crashing into the North Wildwood Marina in a stolen car Saturday.

During an investigation at the scene, the driver, identified as Vincent Rodia, was found hiding in one of the boats at the marina, according to police. A female passenger, identified as Taylor Rodgers, 18, was found with the vehicle at the marina at 5th & New York avenues, police said. Authorities later discovered the car had been stolen out of Philadelphia, Pa.

Police also found Rodia and Rodgers were in possession of heroin and Rodia was driving the vehicle with a suspended license. Both were arrested following the crash, according to North Wildwood police.

Rodia was charged with possession of heroin, receiving stolen property, driving while suspended, defiant tresspassing, disorderly conduct, driving while intoxicated and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He also faces charges for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, failure to stop or yield and careless driving. He was transported to Cape May County Correctional Center.

Police say Rodgers was charged with receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of a  stun gun, obstruction, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a future court date.
