12-Year-Old Girl Dies At Lincroft Park Of Cardiac Arrest

A 12-year-old girl died Tuesday night from cardiac arrest at a park in the Lincroft section of Middletown.

The unidentified girl was running at the Sunnyside Recreation Area when she went into arrest and stopped breathng according to the Asbury Park Press.

She was taken by ambulance to Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank where she died.

Sunnyside Recreation Area, located on Middletown-Lincroft Road, is home of the Monmouth County Park System's Equestrian Division with a variety of activities available for people of all abilities.
