118 Bags of Heroin Discovered in Egg Harbor Twp. Residence, 2 Arrested

Two were arrested, charged after police discovered 118 bags of heroin in connection with a drug investigation.

Police arrested Gary R. Oberman Jr., 37, and Melisa Ann Hand, 32, both of Egg Harbor Township on Sept. 14 for possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

As part of an ongoing drug investigation, detectives executed a search warrant on an Egg Harbor residence on English Creek Avenue and located 118 bags of heroin, numerous hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia.

Bail for Oberman Jr. and Hand was set at $100,000 cash.

Michael Clearkin of Egg Harbor, 24, was also arrested on an outstanding drug related warrant.
