If this election were a plot point in a movie, it would be deemed "unrealistic," and yet here we are! On Wednesday, I asked what movie title would best describe Trump's journey to a possible Presidential nomination, and you guys did not disappoint.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Dumb and Dumber
Anthony on the Turnpike suggested this saying "Trump's dumb and the people who vote for him are dumber." Short, sweet, and to the point.

Man of the Year
Brian in Freehold says this movie would be perfect because he "never expected [Trump] to be there and now he's top notch" celebrity who becomes president. It looks like someone agrees with Brian, because there's already a mash up of the "Man of the Year" trailer with clips of Trump.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Alexis in Howell says Trump could be Randle McMurphy, since he's "pretending to be someone he's not," and Hillary is Nurse Ratchet. Does this make Bernie the Chief?

Wall Street
Rob in Mendham thinks this would best describe the campaign. Can't you see Donald trump as Gordon Gekko?

Idiocracy
Afotey in Piscataway was the first of many to say this movie. He says "it foretold exactly what we're seeing throughout the country right now."

The Candidate
Rob in Toms River suggested this, I think Robert Redford could even play Trump!

End of Days
Dominic from Scotch Plains, a registered republican, suggested this one. Despite being a member of the party that's sending him into the race, Dominic is not trusting of Trump's rhetoric.

Jim Thorpe - All American (Or "Donald Trump - All American)
Alfred in South Plainfield says Trump is "going to be a hero. He'll surround himself with smart people and do the right thing for the people."

It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
This one was suggested by Jerry in Manville, if you ask me, this one best describes this whole election!

True Lies
Nick in Freehold says a Trump presidency would be "non-stop action," and I can't say I disagree.
