The utility says the public is not a risk after the industrial accident Sunday morning at its Arkansas Nuclear One plant in Russellville, about 70 miles northwest of Little Rock. Entergy says the workers were moving the equipment from the plant's turbine building.

Entergy and the Arkansas Department of Health say the accident did not affect the plant's reactors. They also say radiation wasn't involved. The reactors have been shut down, and the company says they are stable.

The company stress that there is no danger to the public.

Chief nuclear officer Jeff Forbes says Entergy is "deeply saddened" by the accident.
