A dispute that got out of control left one man fatally shot and two others injured Monday morning near Penn Station in midtown Manhattan.

The victim was a 43-year-old man police say was found dead at the bottom of the stairs at the subway entrance at 35th Street and Eighth Avenue.

As of mid-morning no suspects were yet under arrest. The NYPD said it is are looking for a gunman and two other men.

The dispute started in a McDonald's restaurant two doors from the subway entrance, police said.

ABC 7 reports police are also looking for a silver vehicle that left the area on Eighth Avenue with three people inside after the shooting.

NJ Transit service was not affected by the incident, which took place around 6 a.m.

One of the injured was shot in the stomach and another in the leg, according to police.
