Vehicular homicide charges have been filed against  a Monroe man following a two-car crash that left one man dead and another seriously injured.

Vincent Paoline also faces an assault by auto charge in connection with Saturday's crash on Route 322 in Monroe Township. The 25-year-old Monroe resident also suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash and was admitted to a hospital. It was not known Saturday night if he had retained a lawyer.

Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Bernie Weisenfeld says Paoline's car crossed over the median around 3:45 a.m. and collided with a car driven by 41-year-old Nic Huynh of Monroe.

Huynh, who was headed home from his job at an Atlantic City casino, was killed. His passenger, 24-year-old Ray Lawson, was hospitalized with a fractured neck.
