The Press of Atlantic City reports that a judge found that Jamal Bruce had no connection to the fight between his brother, Hasan, and Zachary Taylor.

Closing arguments in Hasan Bruce's case are scheduled for Thursday morning.

Prosecutors say 19 Taylor received a call on June 2012 from Hasan Bruce and, after becoming agitated, he grabbed his gun. Prosecutors say Hasan Bruce shot him in the neck.

Jamal Bruce's attorney, David Bahuriak, says Taylor's gun was covered in blood because it was "in his hand when he was shot." Bahuriak says his client didn't have a gun on him and it "wasn't his fight."
